Owner & CEO
Rugi Jalloh, in her role as Owner and CEO of Majak, provides general leadership of the company and charts its strategic direction. She has a Master of Human Ecology and a Master of Environmental Studies with a specialization in environmental management. Her Certification in Negotiation, Mediation and Conflict Resolution has been essential in a number of situations related to the implementation of environmental protection in areas such as policies, standards, consultation, and best management practices. Among the number of training programs completed include Mine Water Remediation, Contaminated Site Remediation and Indigenous/Aboriginal consultation to name a few. Rugi, with her 16-year experience in environmental management, has completed numerous environmental assessments, restoration projects, online training, and Indigenous/Aboriginal consultations. She provides advice to clients and/or partners in the reclamation of mined sites and remediation of contaminated sites, pollution prevention, protection of fish and fish habitat. Rugi provides training to the mining and Agricultural industry in conflict and stakeholder management, community and/or Indigenous engagement and consultations.
Mr. Archan Dabadi,
BSc., Advanced Dip. in Marine Geomatics, MSc., Consultant
Mr. Dabadi is associated with MAJAK Environmental in providing services specialising in Geomatics and Geographic Information System. With almost ten years of experience in the field of Geoscience and Mining, he enjoys data visualization and analysis in the wide spectrum of environmental geophysics. As a Professional Geologist he has provided his services on marine and land non-intrusive environmental data acquisition and interpretation techniques for clients across Canada and abroad.
Ms. Christine Anne Smith
BA, BSc., MES, Environmental Management Consultant
Christine Anne Smith completed undergraduate degrees in Physical Geography, and Environmental Studies. Prior to completing her Master of Environmental Studies, Christine taught at the university level and completed environmental management systems and for a variety of clients. With over 25 years experience in developing and delivering environmental health protection, education, and policy for the public, Indigenous groups, governments, and industry; Christine brings to Majak her experience in environmental site assessment and managing environmental projects, policy development, public outreach & engagement, building environmental management systems for business, risk assessment & management, public opinion research, and developing chemical awareness and learning courses and training programs for the private sector, not for profit groups, and within government. Her expertise includes site inspection & environmental compliance audits, planning, developing, and implementing environmental health policies, management systems and health protection projects, technical writing expertise, project planning & management, user/public survey development, implementation, & data analysis, and developing customized educational products.
